The new Supervisor of Elections is expected to be announced next week.
Constitutional Officers Commission Chairman, Rishi Ram confirms he contacted the successful applicant in New Zealand via email yesterday and this morning he received reply that he wants to see the contract before he decided whether to accept the post.
Ram said he has directed the Commission to prepare a contract which will be ready by next week and by the end of the week they will know whether the person is ready to accept the offer.
