Good news for schools in the rural areas of the Northern division as they will be getting new sports equipment next week from a rotary organisation in Australia.
The Spirit of Sharing, which is attached with the Youth and Sports Ministry will be touring schools in Vanualevu from Monday donating sporting gear.
Spokeperson Peter Cole said they have already assisted close to 171 schools in Viti Levu in the past 9 years and he hopes with this incentive students in Fiji will be able to compete well in the world stage.
Cole also highlighted what the schools in the North can expect from them.
