The new Minister for Education, Dr Mahendra Reddy said his first priority is to review the school curriculum.
Dr Reddy said one of the main issues to be looked at is the quality of education.
Dr Reddy also said he has set some targets.
In an interview with Fijivillage, Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama said that the school curriculum on the country's history will also be reviewed by the government to ensure that the events after Fiji's independence in 1970 are included.
