The new FTA Institute for indigenous Studies was yesterday launched by Rewa High Chief Roko Tui Dreketi Ro Temumu Kepa who called it a mix breed of contribution.
She also wished the members of the FTA well especially the retirees, adding that as Paramount Chief of the Vanua of Burebasaga, the journey was far from over and then pledged her continuous support for the FTA.
The ground breaking ceremony was blessed by former President of the Methodist Church, Rev Josateki Koroi. Invited guests included Roko Tui Bau, Ratu Joni Madraiwiwi, Dr Tupeni Baba, the Qaranivalu, Ratu Inoke Takiveikata, Graham Leung and Rev Tuikilakila Waqairatu.
