The new Fiji Rugby Union CEO is expected to be announced soon as the interviews for the three short listed applicants were concluded last week.

FRU Board member Dr Esther Williams is expected to table a report in relation to the issue tomorrow before the board.

Two Australians and a Fijian were short listed for the post after former CEO Manasa Baravilala was relieved of his duties in September.

FRU Chairman Filimoni Waqabaca said the new CEO will be appointed before the end of the year.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama will launch the FRU fund raising drive at 6pm today.

FRU hopes to raise $1million by selling 200 centennial jerseys at $5000 a piece which has a limited edition to commemorate the 100 years of Fiji rugby.
