The appointment of a new Director General for the Melanesian Spearhead Group will be appointed during the meeting.

Foreign Affairs Minister Ratu Inoke Kubuabola confirmed during the MSG meeting in Nadi today that Papua New Guinea's Rima Ravusiro term of three years expired this year.

Ratu Kubuabola said that an assessment of the applicants has been carried out by Price Water Coopers and his replacement will be appointed in this meet at the Tanoa International hotel in Nadi.
