The country has a new Director of Public Prosecutions.
She is Ayesha Jinasena, who is a Prosecutor from Sri Lanka and has twenty years experience.
Aca Rayawa who was the Acting Director of Public Prosecutions is no longer with the DPP's office.
Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum says Rayawa's contract has been terminated.
