Athletics Fiji has named United States based Jon Thiesen as the new coach for the Commonwealth Youth Games in Pune, India next month.
Coach Albert Miller confirmed that Thiesen will work for free, and will join the athletes in India before the Games starts.
Meanwhile, Suva Grammar School athletes dominate the eight member Athletics squad picked to represent Fiji.
Banuve Tabakaucoro, Eroni Cagi and Mataiasi Savou has been named in the boys team with Natabua High School top sprinter Isoa Me.
The girls team will have the likes of Akesa Drotini and Salaima Balevesi from Adi Cakobau School, Paulini Korowaqa from Ballentine Memorial and Teresia Maritina of Khalsa College.
