A new Chief Tribunal has been appointed and was sworn in at the Government House by his Excellency the President, Ratu Josefa Iloilovatu.
Sainivalati Kuruduadua was appointed by the Judicial Services Commission under the Employment Relations Bill of 2006.
Kuruduadua will be responsible for the Employment Relations Tribunal and the general functions of the organizations are to assist employers and their representatives and workers, assist the representatives of trade unions to achieve and maintain effective employment relations, in particular by adjudicating and determining any grievance or dispute between parties to employment contracts.
