The Vodafone Fiji Futsal team was thrashed 5-1 by New Caledonia in the opening match of the OFC Futsal Championship at the Vodafone Arena.
Fiji’s lone goal was scored by Altaaf Sahib.
Fiji’s will play Vanuatu at 3pm tomorrow in its next match.
The winner of the competition will qualify for the FIFA Futsal World Cup.
