The new chairman for the Cakaudrove Provincial Council is expected to be appointed when the Council sits in Somosomo, Taveuni on the 6th and 7th of next month.
Roko Tui Cakaudrove, Waisale Wainiqolo confirms the current chairman, Sitiveni Rabuka's term expires next month. Wainiqolo said changes will also be made to the other members of the Council.
Meanwhile Wainiqolo also adds that chiefs and members of the Provincial Council want to sight the GCC report first and listen to the GCC Review Taskforce led by Chairman Ratu Josateki Nawalowalo before they make a decision.
Wainiqolo said it is premature to comment now.
