Telecom Fiji Limited will now have a new Chief Executive Officer as current Acting CEO Sakeasi Seru will leave at the end of the month.
In a statement, TFL Board Chairman Tom Ricketts announced that Seru will be leaving TFL at the end of this month after thirty eight years of service.
He also added that during his time at TFL, Seru was tasked with restructuring the Company to meet the changing telecommunications environment B a task which Ricketts said is now complete.
Meanwhile, Ricketts also announced Rohan Mail who is South African born but has resided in Australia for the past 10 years, will be the new CEO.
Mail will begin work with TFL later this month and will work closely with Seru during the transition period.
During his 38 years at TFL, Seru headed various sections in TFL prior to Acting CEO where he acted for 18 months.
Mail most recently worked as General Manager Business Mobile for SingTel Optus.
He has also worked for Telstra Corporation as the General Manager Strategy and Development and for Hutchison Telecommunications (Australia) Ltd as Group Manager 3G Commercialisation.
