The Fiji U21 netball team will play Trindad and Tobago for the 9th and 10th spot playoff in the World Youth Championships in the Cook Islands.

Fiji defeated Samoa 55 goals to 44 this afternoon and will be looking for their best ever finish in the world rankings as they are currently in 13th spot.

Coach Melissa Walker is confident of a good game against the Trinidad and Tobago team who are also trying to finish their World Youth Championship outing on a high note with a win against Fiji.

Although the Fiji team has been under a lot of pressure from some differences among the executives of Fiji Netball and the team management, the girls put on an impressive performance to beat Samoa again.

The 9th and 10th spot playoff between Fiji and Trinidad and Tobago will take place on Friday.
