The Fiji Netball Team as part of their preparations to the World Netball Championships in New Zealand has decided to take their training away from the capital city.
Speaking to Village Sports, team manager Asenaca Waqanivavalagi said the main reason for going to Sigatoka was to have a few sessions at the sand-dunes and also for team bonding.
Waqanivavalagi adds that the team will not be affected by overseas based player Susan Tagicakibau's exclusion from the squad as this will only give an opportunity for other players to make the team.
Coach Vilimaina Davu will hold another trial at the end of this month before selecting the final 12 to the World Netball Championships in Auckland next month.
