“It will be tough defending the title at home.”
That’s the sentiment of National Netball Coach Unaisi Rokoura ahead of the LICI Pacific Netball Series next month.
Fiji are the defending champions and they will hope to see off challenges from Samoa, Cook Islands and Papua New Guinea.
Rokoura said they will need to put in some extra effort now especially for their families.
Meanwhile, Netball Fiji received a major boost today as LICI, Ministry of Social Welfare, Women and Poverty Alleviation, Fiji Water and Vodafone Fiji stepped in to sponsor the side.
Fiji will host the LICI Pacific netball series which will start on the 27th of next month.
