The inaugural Punjas Digicel Netball Youth Cup will be held at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka this Saturday.
The one‑day competition will feature 10 district teams of Under 20 players.
The confirmed teams are from Suva, Lautoka, Nasinu, Navosa, Nadi, Tailevu and Nadroga.
Netball Fiji President Wainikiti Bogidrau said they expect a tough competition with participating associations fielding their strongest teams for this historic event.
Bogidrau added that this is also an opportunity to test members of the national Under 21 squad who are preparing for the Oceania Qualifying Rounds for the 2017 World Youth Netball Cup, to be held in Auckland in September, this year.
