Netball Fiji has collected $140,000 through its fundraising drive for the Pacific Games and is hopeful of receiving an additional $160,000 from the Fiji Sports Commission.

Netball Fiji President Wainikiti Bogidrau says they had a successful fund-raising drive as they received enormous support from the business community and individuals.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Netball team will play the Silver Ferns in Wellington in a test match just days after competing in the Pacific Games in Papua New Guinea.

This match will serve as a build up for Fiji for the Netball World Cup which will be played in Sydney in August.

The Pacific Games will be held from the 4th to the 18th of July
