The Fiji Netball Association will need $650,000 for their preparation for next year’s World Cup in Singapore.

President Wainikiti Bogidrau confirmed they will use this money to prepare the side, which is ranked 5th by the International Federation of Netball Association.

Bogidrau added they have lined up international test matches for the girls ahead of the World Cup which will be held in July next year in Singapore.

In the 2011 National Budget announcement, Government revealed that they will support the team to the WNC but did not reveal how much they will give as financial backing.

Bogidrau had earlier indicated that they hope to finalise the squad for the WNC in January next year after which the side will embark on a tour of Australia.
