The Netball Fiji Council maintains its stand that Fiji Netball Association does not owe Melissa Walker any salary as she claims.

However, FNA will make every effort to assist Walker and her family's relocation to New Zealand by way of airfares.

In a statement released this afternoon, FNA President Milika Munivai said that the decision and undertakings were made in the interest of netball and its long-term future and development in Fiji.

Munivai added the above decision is final and it has been made to protect the Association.

Speaking to Fijivillage, Melissa Walker said it is unfortunate she was not allowed into the meeting on Saturday but she is looking forward to settling the matter in court next week.
