Netball Fiji Vice-President Wati Seeto has today confirmed that the Association has "No Money" in its caucus, to pay for the $200,000 owed to their landlord, Ram Chand, for the rent of National Coach, Melissa Walker's apartment.
Seeto confirms to Fijivillage Sports they have paid some rent from Government's assistance, but the rest of the money was used for preparing the Under-21 team to the World Youth Championships.
NF is still awaiting more money from the Government, Sponsors and various organisations they have written to, to cover the costs for them.
It is understood that Netball Fiji has asked the Magistrate Court for three weeks to pay off debts of close to $200,000 owed to the landlord.
The rent for the coach's residence in Tamavua has not been paid for over nine months and the debt has accumulated, since it was occupied in November 2008.
