Five Chinese companies have come to the rescue to Netball Fiji and have donated $71,000 for their campaign to the World Netball Championships in Singapore next year.

These companies are engaged in upgrading and building works around the country.

Netball Fiji President, Wainikiti Bogidrau thanked the companies for their assistance, which will help the national side in its
preparations.

The national side is ranked 5th in the world and Bogidrau said their aim is to better this ranking come the WNC next year.

She added that they will be representing the Chinese people too because of their continued relationship with the Chinese community here and for their help in donating to Netball Fiji the much needed financial boost they were are looking for.

Fiji is in the same pool with New Zealand, Wales, Trinidad and
Tobago at the World Netball Championships in Singapore in July next year.
