Netball Fiji clarifies Qoro’s appointment
Speaking at the announcement of Gabrielle Qoro as the new national netball coach, Bogidrau said that all these aspects were taken into consideration before the final decision was made.
At the announcement earlier today assistant coach Rokoura said that Qoro brings in a different aspect to the netball fraternity and she is looking forward to the challenges ahead.
In the next few months, the national netball team has a busy schedule.
These include, an invitation to play the England national side in November of this year, a build up tour to Australia early next year, the Pacific Cup in Port Moresby in June 2011, the World Netball Championships in Singapore in July 2011 and the World Netball Series in Manchester England in November 2011.
Former National Netball team manager Asenaca Waqanivavalagi has been re-selected to manage the team to the World Netball Championships next year.
