With the New Sporting Year already rolling, Netball Fiji is still yet to find a sponsor to cover costs for their National coach, Melissa Walker.
In a statement to Legend FM sports, Netball Fiji Secretary, Tupou Lemeki stated that Netball Fiji have only managed to secure sponsor for their training gear and training facilities.
She added that they are currently working to secure funds for the coach's salary but will this afternoon announce the sponsorship received from Colonial and Fiji Sports Council.
The sponsorship from Colonial is mainly in the form of supplying training gear for the teams, and for Fiji Sports Council, it is for the use of their facilities towards the team’s training and preparation.
The sponsorship announcement was held today at the Vodafone Arena.
