The Ministry of Youth and Sports has questioned why Netball Fiji is still without a National coach as they have already assisted the Association financially.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Principal Sports Officer Sakaraia Tuva said the Ministry could only assist them with limited funds.
Tuva adds that it has come to the attention of the Ministry that the money has been used elsewhere.
However, Netball Fiji President Milika Munivai said the Association needs a total of $70,000 to accommodate the new coach's salary and is still holding talks with respective business houses and a favorable response is expected soon.
Munivai added that the $10,000 given by the Ministry is still in the Association's coffers and has not been spent as alleged by the officials.
