Netball Fiji is hopeful that they will get the funding from the interim government when the 2009 Budget is announced on Friday.
It is understood that Netball Fiji has requested for $150,000 for preparations for next year's World Youth Netball Championship and the Mini Pacific Games that will be held in Cook Islands.
Chairman of the National Team and Development Committee, Patricia Rokoua says they have given their submission to the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Netball Fiji was given $350,000 in the last budget for the World Netball Championships that were held in New Zealand.
