The Netball Fiji Executive Council meeting was called off last night and will now be held next week, Saturday, as all Council members, including those from the West, will have to attend.

Netball Fiji Vice-President Wati Seeto has today confirmed they want all members present because they need to discuss some critical issues.

These include, the financial struggles of Netball Fiji, the coaches position in relation to differences that came up during the U-21 World Youth Championships in the Cook Islands, and the team going to defend the Gold medal at the Mini Games in the Cook Islands in two weeks time.

Meanwhile, National Netball Coach Melissa Walker is in New Zealand and has returned to renew her passport and to bring her girls back from holidays.

Walker is due back into the country on Sunday and will head straight into preparing the team for the Mini Games that starts in the Cook Islands on September 24.
