Netball Fiji coach Melissa Walker with the help of the team management have today announced a 30-member national squad to prepare for the Mini Games to be held in the Cook Islands next year.

Netball Fiji president Milika Munivai has today confirmed that the selectors have also included in the 30-member squad, the three overseas based players who are currently based in Australia, namely Matelita Shaw, Taraima Rara and Mere Rabuka.

Munivai added the three will have to attend the final trials in October in order to make the final cut.

From the thirty girls selected today, all twelve players that represented Fiji at the World Netball Championships in New Zealand last year have been included while the rest are all new players.

The selectors are also expected to finalize the under-21 squad in the next hour.
