Villagers of Naqali in Naitasiri appreciated the assistance provided by Nestle Milo yesterday as they gave them Coffee, Noodles and drinking water to villagers affected by the flood.
Village headman Ratu Kiniviliame Koroi said villagers have been working together from last Friday to provide food and shelter to more than 300 villagers from the interior of Naitasiri after more than 2km of the Sawani/Serea road was under water.
Nestle Milo General Manager Heath Tilley said the company felt that it was necessary to visit the affected people in Naqali to assist them in this time of need.
