The new non-resident Ambassador of Nepal to Fiji Yogendra Dhakal presented his credentials to Fiji's Acting President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau at Government House yesterday.

Dhakal said he was honoured to be appointed as Nepal’s Ambassador to Fiji and is grateful for the opportunity to be able to develop his country's relationship with Fiji to another level indicating that there was good potential to develop trade investment and tourism.

He is also satisfied with both countries contribution to the maintenance of international peace and security by providing peacekeeping forces under UN agencies.

Dhakal also visited Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama at the Office of the Prime Minister.
