The Housing Authority is currently negotiating with a Malaysian Company to build five thousand new houses in Waila.

In a press Statement, Housing Authority Chairman, Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga said they are holding talks with Top Symphony Corporation of Malaysia for the proposed Waila Housing City.

The Proposed Waila City is expected to feature housing of all categories of buys ranging from low , middle to high income earners and will range from single story to mid rise apartments.

According to Col Tikoitoga, the proposed City will span over 700 acres of land and will take over 10 years to complete.
