The Interim Government and the Amalgamated Telecom Holdings will start negotiations this week to discuss on the exclusive telecommunication licenses held by the ATH.
Permanent Secretary for Commerce and Communication, Amena Yauvoli said Interim Government is not willing to pay monetary compensation to Vodafone Fiji, Fintel and Telecom Fiji for the license and some agreements needs to be reached between them.
A total of six companies have applied to provide mobile phone services in the country.
