With 12 days to the start of another school year, needy children in the Eastern Division now have their school needs met with the timely assistance from Save the Children Fiji.

Today the organisation’s CEO Chandra Shekar gave out education assistance kits to students at the primary and school levels.

These kits contain exercise books, math work books, note books, mathematical sets, erasers and other supplies.

Save the Children will continue distributing among needy children in the West and North from tomorrow.

It is also expected that by tomorrow over 15,000 children in Fiji will receive these free education kits.

According to Shekar $18,000 in total was spent on these education assistance kits.
