Challenges faced by Digicel Fiji Sevens team new find Manasa Nayagi did not deter him from donning the white jersey.
As his name was announced earlier today for the 12 member squad for the NZ and USA Sevens, Nayagi remembered the struggles he faced when his parents left him with his grandmother.
Speaking to Fijivillage, the former Suva Grammar School student said he will have a lot to play for, especially his family members.
Nayagi showed his class in last week’s Uprising Sevens with his aggressive defense and his ability to create scoring opportunities.
