Former Fiji U-18 captain Apisai Nayabo looks likely to make his debut in the Digicel Fiji Sevens colors in the Hong Kong and Adelaide Sevens.

Nayabo, who was one of the 4 non-travelling reserves in the Fiji team to the World Cup Sevens, impressed selectors with his aerial battle skills and work rate on the field since joining the Sevens training squad.

He is likely to team up with the likes of Jerry Burotu and Pio Tuwai in the forwards, who were his team mates in the Fiji Warriors team that won the Marist Sevens last month.

The final team is likely to be made up of the 6 local players who went to Dubai, in the likes of Vereniki Goneva, Peni Rokodiva Jnr, Jerry Burotu, Pio Tuwai, Waisale Suka and Orisi Sareki.

The other players who are also vying for a position are Waqabaca Kotobalavu, Osea Kolinisau, Suliasi Ramasima, William Rasileka, Watisoni Votu, Nasoni Roko, Emosi Vucago and Niumaia Cakacaka.

The Fiji Sevens team will be named this afternoon at 3pm.
