Close relatives and members of the chiefly clan of Tavuki in Kadavu are mourning the passing away of the former Chairman of the Kadavu Provincial Council and the Fiji Kava Council, Ratu Josateki Nawalowalo.
Nawalowalo passed away in Nadi on Friday morning after a short illness.
According to his brother, Ratu Samu Nagatalevu, Ratu Josateki Nawalowalo went to Nadi to make a presentation on the Kava Council on Wednesday before he died on Friday.
He was 60 years old.
The close family members and chiefs from the chiefly clan will leave from Kadavu to come to Suva tomorrow.
Nagatalevu said the regu-regu will be held at Gaji Road in Samabula, and the church service will be held at Centenary church this Friday.
He will be laid to rest at the Suva Cemetery.
