The GCC Taskforce will continue to uphold their role not only to disseminate information to the 14 provincial councils but also to call the next Great Council of Chiefs meeting in August.
Chairman, Ratu Josateki Nawalowalo has again reminded the chiefs that the role of the Taskforce is vital especially in the appointment of the two highest office holders in the nation.
Earlier today the Rewa provincial council revealed that the GCC Taskforce led by the chairman, Ratu Josateki Nawalowalo has gone over-board by urging the chiefs from the 14 provinces to submit three names to represent them in the Great Council meeting to be held in August.
Deputy Chairman, Pita Tagicakiverata said Nawalowalo and his team should stick to their role under their terms of reference by disseminating information on the new criteria to the GCC Regulations Promulgation.
