Kadavu provincial Council Chairman Ratu Josateki Nawalowalo said he is confident to retain the chairmanship position of the council during their meeting this week where he will also present to the Chiefs of Kadavu the new GCC regulations.
Nawalowalo said his people know is track record and what he has already achieved within the province.
According to Nawalowalo, the people of Kadavu have already made a commitment on the proposed People's Charter and the new GCC legislations
He said Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama was supposed to open the council meeting, but had to cancel due to his tight schedule.
Meanwhile, Ratu Nawalowalo and his GCC Review Taskforce will be making their orientations at the Macuata Bose Vanua tomorrow in Labasa.
