Three Navy ships will be leaving the Suva Wharf tonight with relief supplies to visit the worst hit areas after Cyclone Tomas.
Navy Commander Francis Kean has confirmed that these navy vessels will go to the North, where Commissioner Northern will travel with them to Cikobia, Udu Point and Taveuni.
Another boat will go to Moala, Matuku and Totoya and the third vessel will go to the Northern Lau Group.
Commander Kean has also confirmed that these vessels will carry relief supplies with them when they leave tonight and are expected to reach the islands tomorrow morning.
Meanwhile Permanent Secretary for Agriculture Colonel Mason Smith said that their assessment teams will be traveling in the three vessels, bound for the Northern and Eastern divisions.
Colonel Smith said more teams will also be sent out tonight on board the Sulliven.
