The Navy rugby team have created history in the Suva Rugby Union Competition after beating Army Green 34-24 in the final of the Escort Shield.
Ever since the inception of the club 32 years ago they have never lifted the 100 year old shield.
Meanwhile Marist Blue beat Covenant Brother's 30-20 to win the Koroturaga shield while Raiwaqa beat Covenant Brothers 18-15 to retain the U-20 calls shield.
Meanwhile, the Vatukoula rugby team upset Cakaudrove 24-22 to claim the B Division title at Churchill Park in Lautoka this afternoon.
Vatukoula led 14-3 at halftime and will progress to the promotion relegation match against Navosa next Saturday in Lautoka to determine which union will feature amongst the top 12 provincial teams in 2012.
