What appears to be the sunken vessel MV Princess Ashika, which sank a week ago, has been found by a New Zealand Navy search team in Tonga using a sonar system.

The MV Princess Ashika capsized on August 5th about 90km northwest of the capital Nuku'alofa, en route to the Nomuka Islands group, with 93 people still missing.

In an interview with Radio New Zealand, Head of the New Zealand Navy dive team, Lieutenant Commander Andrew McMillan said they are confident that the ship is Princess Ashika, the ship has been found lying upright in 110metres of water.
