Navua and Lautoka soccer officials have released their top players for the Oceania Beach Soccer championship which will be held later this month in Tahiti.

Fiji FA earlier confirmed of pulling the team out from the championship but changed their decision after district team's agreed to release their players.

Navua has released goalkeeper Ben Amino, Alvin Avinesh, Taniela Waqa, Pita Bolaitoga and Sonal Sharma while Lautoka has given permission to Kamal Hassan, Valerio Nawatu, Alifereti Baleloa, Salesh Sami and Arvindra Naidu.

Sandeep Nair and Shalen Buisena from Suva make up the final 12 member squad.

Fiji Beach soccer coach Intiaz Khan said the players will start camp from this Sunday and will leave for Tahiti on the 26th of this month.

The Oceania Beach Soccer Championship is a qualifier to the World Cup in November in Dubai. Fiji, Solomon’s, Tahiti and Vanuatu will compete in a week long tournament.
