Navua tipped to win team of the year
The Southern based side had a good 2009 season.
Navua made it back-to-back winning the Fiji Fact and then created history by winning the IDC title for the first time ever.
They also went onto win the Futsal and Beach soccer championship titles in Fiji.
But their competition will come from Lautoka, who has also been nominated for the Team of the Year Award.
Lautoka, last season won the National Soccer League and they also created history as they went unbeaten in the competition.
They qualified for the O-League competition and will again take part in the O-League next season and played finals in all the three major soccer tournaments, Fiji Fact, BOG and IDC.
Meanwhile, Navua President Anil Sharma and Lautoka President Shalen Lal are vying for the Administrator of the Year Award after having a successful 2009 with the districts.
Both of them have won the award before.
It is also believed that Navua Coach Gurjeet Singh is the top bet to win the Coach of the Year Award.
He guided Navua to five titles last season.
The Fiji FA Awards night will be held on Saturday, starting at 7pm.
