Suva soccer team sent out stern warning after defeating hosts Ba 1-0 in the last match of the Courts IDC at Govind Park.

Sanni Issa was the hero of the side after he scored the only goal of the match right in the full time mark to give the Whites the much needed 3 points to maintain their lead at the top of the points table.

On the other hand, the Navua soccer team created the second major upset after defeating favorites Lautoka 1-0.

It was Inia Boko who scored the lone goal of the match in the 17th minute of the second half.

The Southerners recorded their second win from 2 games, beating defending champions Labasa by 3-1 in their first match.

Navua has 6 points after 2 matches and lead their pool respectively.

The defending champions Labasa had to come from behind to beat Tavua 2-1 in the first super premier match of day 2.

Tavua opened the account in the second half through Ravinesh Chand but the Babasiga Lions combined well to score 2 quick goals in the last 5 minutes through Vikrant Chandra and Ilisoni Logaivou to keep their semifinal hopes alive.

The second super premier match saw Nadi defeat Savusavu 2-1.
