Navua soccer president Anil Sharma will officially step down from his post after tonight's special function at Pacific Harbour.
This function will be his last as the Navua president, where he will present the players with the prize money and tokens for winning the Courts Homecentres IDC title for the first time.
Sharma earlier stated that once he becomes the Fiji FA vice-president, he will resign and let someone else take over from him as president of Navua soccer.
He also said the support he received today from the celebration was overwhelming.

The Navua soccer celebration for winning the Courts Homecentres IDC for the first time ever will start in the next hour.
Association President Anil Sharma said that close to 85 floats have been lined up that will proceed from the Pacific Harbour to Navua Town.
He said thousands of fans from around the country can be seen moving around in Navua and want to be part of the victory celebrations.
According to Sharma, the fans will get a chance to see and meet their heroes with the Lioyd Farebrother Trophy and later a special function will be organised for the players and officials where they will be presented with the share of their prize money and gift packs from the sponsors.
Meanwhile DAV College Ba is also celebrating today for the making it back to back in the Secondary Schools division. Their function will start at 6pm at Civic Centre Hall in Ba.
