The decrease in water demand for those people staying in Navua during this cold weather has seen a burst in the main pipe supplying water to major parts of Navua, leaving the residents without water supply.
Suva Water department spokesperson, Maika Nagalu said at the moment they are trying to fix the problem and are calling on residents to use water sparingly as there are no water trucks to service the Town.
Meanwhile, Nagalu said their men are still working on the Raralevu Reservoir and water supply to those staying in Tailevu especially in Lakena, Vuiduna, Cautata and Vatoa village will continue to face water cuts.
