"We will bring the cup back to Navua"
Those were the comments of Navua stylish mid-fielder Pranil Kumar as he scored a goal to help Navua beat Nadroga 1-0 in the first super premier match of day 3 in the Courts IDC soccer tournament at Govind Park.
Kumar said despite the win the team has a lot to improve on before they take on Tavua tomorrow.
With a match at hand Navua has been undefeated in the pool games so far as Labasa will square it off with Lautoka this afternoon to determine which two teams will qualify for the semifinal from pool one.
Meanwhile, in pool two, the race for a semifinal berth is widely open with Suva needing a win against Rewa to confirm their spot while Ba, Nadi ,Rewa and Savusavu are all in contention.
The game that is currently underway Rewa is leading Savusavu 3- 1.
This afternoon Nadroga will take on Tavua at 4, Suva takes on Rewa at 5.15pm , Lautoka and Labasa at 6.30 followed by Ba and Nadi at 8pm.
