The Navua soccer team’s number one goalkeeper Sheik Mosheen has been ruled out for 6 to 8 weeks after sustaining injuries to his hip in the game against Lautoka yesterday in the Inkk Mobile BOG.

Navua soccer coach Saiyad Ali said reserve goalkeeper Sitiveni Qarua will take Mosheen’s place.

Navua lost 2-0 against Lautoka yesterday and also lost to Labasa 1-0 on Saturday.

Navua now needs to beat Rewa by at least three clear goals and hope that Labasa beats Lautoka for them to qualify for the semifinals.

Ali said they are still trying to get Nigerian forward Ali Anthony cleared to feature for the Southerners this week.

Navua takes on Rewa at 2.30pm this Friday at Govind Park.
