Navua powered through with a 2-0 victory over Nadroga in the National Football League yesterday afternoon.

Two goals in the second half by Lorima Dau and former Suva striker Sedrick Dutt guided the Southern giants.

Dau who was part of the Lautoka side for the beginning of the season played his first game for Navua yesterday.

Nadroga who have lost key players with the likes of Archie Watkins to Rewa, Summet Krishan to Nasinu and Thomas Coster to Navua put up a good show in the first spell and were denied on numerous occasions.

In another match played yesterday afternoon, Rewa went down to the Under 20 by 1-0.

Following a dull first half the second half picked up momentum through Joshua Tawake's goal.

As tempers flew, a setback came for the Rewa side as Marika Rodu and later Posiano Kalisito were shown red cards.
