The Province of Navosa has topped the list in the Western division coverage for responses to the draft Peoples Charter consultations from 8th October this year.

The press secretary for the Commissioner Western Waisale Tora has confirmed that the Commissioner Western has released the figures in a meeting that a total of 1816 response forms distributed in Navosa after the consultations shows that 1790 people said yes to the Charter while 26 were against it.

Tora said more than 80% of the population has been covered. He said Nadarivatu has responded well during the consultations and even though faced with constraint on transportation and fuel, the officials conducting consultations have managed to find other means to reach their destinations.

Meanwhile 50 government officials in the Health Ministry in Labasa attended the Charter consultation process at the Labasa Hospital this morning where these officials were informed about the process.
