With only 17 athletes, 7 gold medals are in the sights of Navosa Central College for the Coca Cola Games.

Team coach Vasiti Vatureba said 16 girls and 1 boy will represent Navosa Central College, as they aim to do better than what they achieved last year when they won four gold medals.

Vatureba said due to financial constraints they have decreased the number of athletes this year.

Vatureba said their girls are hoping to get Gold medals in the 200, 400, 800 and 4 x 400 metres relay and also could get a medal in the Long Jump.

As a former National rep, she said her school does not have any chance of winning the Games, but is putting her money on Suva Grammar School to take the title in the Boys and Girls Division.
